Easterbrook, per lungo tempo Professore all’Universita` di Chicago, è stato fra i pionieri della Law and Economics. Il suo The Economic Structure of Corporate Law (scritto con Daniel Fischel) è considerato un piccolo classico. Fra i suoi articoli più importanti, “Predatory Strategies and Counterstrategies” (1981).
